Amman- the Global Forum for Science and Technology in Singapore - GSTF appointed the Information & Communications Technology Association of Jordan - int@j, as its exclusive representative in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in order to enlist and appoint organizations to become Accredited Training Partners.
GSTF, a pioneer in providing Open Source Technology based training and certification programs in Cloud Computing, Big Data, Data Science and Internet of Things, GSTFs programs are endorsed and supported by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as well.
The 3 year agreement allows int@j to collaborate with GSTF in providing accreditation for universities, colleges and institutes and supervise the Accredited Training Providers to be authorized to deliver GSTF products using course materials approved by the forum in order to improve the dynamics of Jordan’s ICT & IT activities.
According to the agreement between the two parties, all interested organizations can submit an official request to int@j to be selected as an Accredited Training Provider in the Kingdom to benefit from the services provided by GSTF that will offer 14 types of courses in three main sections: cloud computing, Internet of Things - IoT & IoT security in addition to business analytics, big data and data sciences.
The Chief Executive Officer of int@j, Engineer Nidal Bitar said: "We are proud of this cooperation & for becoming the accredited body of GSTF in Jordan; it’s a great opportunity for ICT sector companies to get certified by a global training programs in the currently leading technologies such as big data, cloud computing & IoT."
Engineer Bitar stressed on the great importance of training, especially in the rapidly moving societies depending on high level skills, knowledge and latest technology trends such as big data as a key source for promoting the growth and well-being of the society beside the fact that Singapore was ranked recently as number one for being best prepared for digital economy and making excellent use of digital technologies.
